Mobile interface design is the work of deciding what a person sees first, what they can reach with a thumb, and what they can do when the connection drops. NUZM designs against real content and real device sizes, so what gets approved is what can actually be built.
What this includes
- Screens designed with your real data in them, including the long names and empty lists.
- A clickable prototype, so the flow is tested before it is built.
- Loading, empty and error states, which are the screens users see most and designers draw least.
- Touch targets and contrast checked against accessibility guidance rather than by eye.
- A component library the developers build from, so the app matches the design.
Is this the right choice for you?
Right before development starts. Design is cheapest to change while it is still a picture.
Wrong as a rescue for an app that is already built and unpopular. If people are not using it, the reason is usually the flow or the value rather than the appearance, and redrawing the screens will not change either.
Worth knowing before you commit
Most mobile designs are approved on a large monitor and used on a five-inch screen in sunlight, one-handed, on a slow connection. We review every screen in that condition before it is signed off, and it is the review that changes the design most.
