NUZM Solutions is a software house in Jalalpur, Gujrat. It builds web, mobile and automation software for businesses, and it publishes and operates academic journals on Open Journal Systems. Those two halves are unusual together, and they explain most of what is distinctive about how the company works.
What NUZM does
The commercial side covers five service lines: web development, software development, mobile applications, AI and automation, and academic publishing support. In practice that runs from a WordPress site a client's own team edits, through custom platforms in Laravel and the MERN stack, to back-end systems in Elixir, Go, Scala and Clojure where reliability under load is the requirement.
The publishing side is not a sideline. NUZM runs peer-reviewed, open-access journals with registered ISSNs, indexed across Google Scholar, Crossref and several other services. Running those has meant learning the parts of publishing that decide whether research is findable at all: metadata, stable addresses, DOI registration, and full text a crawler can reach.
Why the two halves belong together
Both are the same problem in different clothes. A journal nobody can find and a business nobody can find fail for the same technical reasons, and the fix in both cases is structured data, stable addresses and pages written to be read by machines as well as people. The publishing work is where NUZM learned that in a setting where getting it wrong is measured in citations rather than in enquiries.
How projects run
Every project has a dedicated team and one named point of contact who stays the same from the first call to handover. Progress is reported weekly in writing whether the week went well or badly, since a week with a blocker is the week a client most needs to hear about. Work is quoted against a written scope, and changes to that scope are priced before they are built rather than absorbed and discovered later.
At the end, everything transfers: source code, repository, domain, hosting and every third-party account created for the project. Handover is a step in the project rather than a favour requested afterwards.

Discovery
We learn what the software has to do, who will use it, and when you need it working. A list of features helps; a description of the process you want fixed helps more.
Design and scope
Wireframes and a written plan listing what is being built and what is not, agreed before any code and before any price.
Build and review
Work is built, tested and shown to you on a staging site before anything reaches your customers. Progress is reported weekly in writing.
Launch and handover
Going live, training your team on the parts they should run themselves, and transferring the code, the domain and every account created for the project.
Where NUZM is
The office is at House # 56/19, Rushi Street, Jalalpur, Gujrat, Pakistan, and the working day is Monday to Friday, 8am to 10pm Pakistan Standard Time. That is UTC+5, which overlaps the whole European working day and the first half of the North American one, so clients in either region reach a person during their own hours rather than waiting overnight.
Most of the commercial work is for businesses in Punjab, and a good deal of it for clients abroad who wanted a team that would still be reachable in six months. The publishing work has no geography at all.
The name
NUZM stands for Nex-Gen Unit for Zealous Minds. It began as a research and publishing venture, which is why the journals came first and why the academic side is not an afterthought bolted onto an agency.
